Growing Us Psychology was born from a desire to grow, nurture and support the relationship we have with ourselves and those around us.

We are all born with an inherent need to attach to caregivers to meet our physical and emotional needs.

We need others to nurture us, protect us, delight in us, and help us soothe our distress. Our earliest relational dynamics directly inform our sense-of-self and how we navigate the world; they are the seeds that determine how we grow, develop and interact with the world. When we are seen, safe and soothed, our relationships with others and with ourselves become beacons during life’s storms and safe places to share our joys.

Growing Us Psychology focuses on establishing and strengthening relationships so that new ‘seeds of growth’ can be cultivated and nurtured.

Growing Us Psychology believes it is never too late to grow these safe, healthy relationships with ourselves and our children.

We offer a warm, safe space to explore and make sense of life’s difficulties, celebrate life’s joys, and grow – together.
